Mediterranean International Cup
MICFootball is a youth football tournament celebrated on Spain's Costa Brava with some of the world’s major clubs and national teams. The tournament originated with one aim: provide young football players from all around the world the opportunity to play with the best international teams and players.
Eighteen years later, MICFootball continues to keep this spirit alive.

Every Easter, thousands of young players from all over the world fill the Costa Brava up with sports. Through 5 intense days, hundreds of games are played at the fields located all over Girona.
​
In the same way that some of today’s stars – like Messi, Coutinho, Neymar and Piqué – did in their time, future stars will meet each other at the MIC-Mediterranean International Cup.

After last year's exceptional performance, we have been invited once again to participate in the 2020 MIC Tournament. AFCLA is currently training hard to compete against some of the best teams in the world. By traveling, participating and competing in this tournament our teams gain experiences far beyond what most clubs can offer.
The players skills are tested and improved by competing against the top echelon of players from around the world. Teamwork and communication is required at this level of competition. As a result of this type of training, when our teams return to the states they are more prepared and more united than most other clubs.
Teamwork and communication skills are built off the field too. By traveling across the globe together the boys work together to resolve issues that can just never arise without such grand experiences. Although they are very much watched and cared for by chaperone parents and coaches the boys experience a degree of independence on an international scale.
